• Experience with safety analyses such as FHA, FTA, and risk assessments desired.

Responsibilities

• Conducts system research and hazard analysis to identify safety concerns and quantify impact.
• Collaborates to define safety requirements and integrate into designs and procedures.
• Performs tests, analyses, inspections, and simulations to verify safety and mission goals.
• Develops and maintains safety tools and processes for aerospace programs.
• Documents safety analyses and mitigation plans per regulatory standards.
• Leads safety action groups and promotes a strong safety culture.
• Supports demonstrations of hazard risk mitigations to customers and regulators.
• Ensures mission success through active safety oversight across lifecycles.
