Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering is seeking a Laboratory Coordinator I to support the aerospace engineering laboratories and assist with daily operations, maintenance, and safety compliance. This role helps prepare and set up experiments, ensures equipment readiness, and supports faculty and student research activities in a collaborative environment.

The Laboratory Coordinator I will assist with calibration, data collection, and inventory management, contributing to successful instructional and research

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily operation of aerospace engineering laboratories and testing facilities.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, inspection, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Provide technical assistance to faculty, staff, researchers, and students conducting laboratory experiments and test programs.
• Follow and promote laboratory safety procedures and university policies.
• Maintain laboratory documentation, equipment records, and operating procedures.
• Assist with purchasing laboratory supplies and replacement components.
