Job summary

ELYON International is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to support technical sales, solution development, and customer engagement within the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience in aerospace and IT infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in Sales Engineering or related technical field.
• Aerospace industry experience required.
• IT infrastructure experience required.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure components (servers, networks, storage, data center tech, virtualization, cloud, cybersecurity, DR).
• Experience working directly with customers in a technical, consultative, pre-sales capacity.
• Ability to explain complex architectures to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead throughout sales and business development.
• Work with aerospace customers to understand requirements.
• Design and recommend IT infrastructure solutions.
• Conduct discovery sessions, requirements gathering, and demonstrations.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business value.
• Support proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and statements of work.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, IT, cybersecurity, and delivery teams to develop solutions.
• Evaluate customer environments for infrastructure requirements and risks.
• Support solution development across servers, networks, storage, virtualization, cloud, cybersecurity.
• Build relationships with customer stakeholders.
• Stay current with aerospace technologies and industry trends.
• Participate in meetings, site visits, events as needed.
