Job summary
Elyon International is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to support technical sales, solution development, and customer engagement within the aerospace sector. Qualifications
- 10+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or related field.
- Aerospace industry experience is required.
- IT infrastructure knowledge across servers, networking, storage, virtualization, and cloud.
- Ability to translate technical concepts for both technical and business audiences.
- Experience contributing to technical proposals and customer responses.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead and SME through the sales cycle.
- Understand aerospace customer requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
- Design IT infrastructure solutions aligned with operational environments.
- Conduct discovery sessions, requirements gathering, and demos.
- Support proposals, RFIs, RFPs, and statements of work.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, IT, cybersecurity, and program teams.
- Evaluate customer environments for modernization opportunities.
- Stay current with aerospace tech, cloud, and cybersecurity trends.
- Engage in customer meetings, site visits, and industry events.
