Job summary

Canopy A&D seeks an experienced IT Help Desk Specialist to support aerospace manufacturing IT environments with strong CMMC and NIST 800-171 knowledge. The role covers hardware, software, and network issues, plus ERP/MES/CAD/CAM systems, audits, and secure IT practices.

The position is Full Time, on-site in Cape Canaveral, FL, with occasional travel to Riverside, CA. 5+ years in a regulated industry and cross-functional teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of IT help desk or technical support experience in a regulated industry (aerospace preferred).
• Strong knowledge of CMMC compliance levels and NIST cybersecurity standards.
• Experience supporting IT systems in manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux, and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, Cloud-based, and endpoint security tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT incidents in a timely manner, escalating complex issues when necessary.
• Maintain compliance with CMMC and NIST 800-171 requirements in daily IT operations.
• Support systems used in aerospace manufacturing, including ERP, MES, and CAD/CAM applications.
• Assist with audits, documentation, and reporting related to cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with IT security teams to enforce security policies and procedures.
• Train and support end-users on secure IT practices and compliance requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, tickets, and resolutions in help desk systems.
• Able to support on-site full-time in Ontario, CA.
• Occasional travel to alternate site in Riverside, CA.
