Job summary

Under limited direction, this Inventory Analyst role initiates and implements programs, tools, policies and procedures regarding inventory management, control, monitoring, and practices to meet project and production requirements. The Inventory Analyst supports production and program schedules by managing inventory levels, analyzing material

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required with 3+ years of experience in inventory planning and control.
  • Strong understanding of inventory planning standards, MRP, and data interpretation.
  • Customer focused with ability to identify issues and develop solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews, evaluates and approves MRP requirements, requisitions, and inventory transfers.
  • Analyzes obsolete and excess inventory, and reviews ABC codes and order policies.
  • Represent the organization in coordinating with purchasing, production planning, and supplier teams.
  • Lead or advise junior staff; exercise independent judgment on significant matters.
