Job summary

Firefly Aerospace, located near Austin, TX, seeks a Shipping and Receiving associate for our Briggs facility north of Cedar Park. You will help ensure timely, accurate receipt of materials and prepare outbound shipments to support rocket production readiness and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, attention to detail, data-entry skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Familiarity with Odoo ERP and forklift is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in software operation and data entry.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect inbound deliveries for accuracy and damage.
• Compare quantities and part numbers with procurement data for order accuracy.
• Record items and route inventory to the inventory cage.
• Record shortages and backorders and notify affected parties.
• Prepare outgoing shipments with proper packaging, labeling, and Hazmat considerations.
• Maintain quality documentation and ensure AS9100/AS9102 compliance.
• Support Engineering, Quality and Procurement with timely recordkeeping.
• Follow safety regulations and wear required PPE.
