Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Instrumentation Program Engineer to oversee instrumentation requirements on engines and rigs from concept through tollgate. You will own cost and schedule for the instrumentation scope and coordinate with multiple engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met.

The role emphasizes planning, execution, risk management, and continuous improvement using digital tools and standard programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in instrumentation and testing.
  • U.S. Person status required for access to U.S. export-controlled information.
  • Authorization to work in the United States and successful completion of a drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Manage instrumentation requirements on engines and rigs through the full tollgate process.
  • Own cost and schedule for the instrumentation scope, including TPS content.
  • Coordinate daily with Instrumentation, Design, Systems, Assembly, Engineering, Evaluation, Test, Tooling, and other teams.
  • Support scheduling and execution of development engines with focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
