Job summary

RTX seeks an onsite Inspection Technician to perform dimensional and visual inspections on parts, tools, and gages, interpreting drawings and Approved Technical Data. • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. GED) in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Prior relevant experience in inspection or quality control is expected.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform dimensional and visual inspections on parts, tools, and gages using applicable procedures and data.
• Use fixed or variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
• Compute pass/fail using tolerances and ensure work instructions are followed.
• Maintain inspection stamps and verify dimensions for quality reviews.
• Coordinate repairs or calibration of measuring equipment as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to meet business goals.
