Job summary

Cutting Dynamics, part of the Re:Build Manufacturing family in Avon, Ohio, is seeking a painter to prep, mask, load/unload, and operate paint-related equipment on second shift. You will inspect parts to ensure conformance to precise standards and keep the workspace clean and safe while following blueprints and travelers for exact masking boundaries.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience in industrial or automotive painting, and strong visual and mechanical inspection skills.

Responsibilities

• Prep surfaces: clean, abrade, and ready parts before and after paint to spec.
• Mask to print: follow blueprints, travelers, and work instructions for exact masking boundaries.
• Load/unload: move parts to and from paint booths, drying racks, and work surfaces.
• Run the process: start paint-related equipment and operate instruments safely and accurately; assist other operators as needed.
• Quality first: inspect in-process and finished parts to verify conformance to rigorous standards.
• Flow the work: place products in equipment or on benches for downstream processing, inspection, or wrapping.
• Own the space: keep your booth, tools, and area clean; follow all storage and handling procedures for materials.

Picture this: it’s 1:55 pm and you’re lacing up for second shift. By 2:00 pm you’re reviewing travelers and blueprints, mapping masks, and sequencing parts so the line keeps moving with zero surprises.
