Job summary

Blue Origin is hiring for a role within Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering (ACE) focused on automation and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. You will assemble, test, and troubleshoot hydraulic/pneumatic components, read schematics and P&IDs, and support engineers with testing and automation development.

The role involves testing up to high pressures, training others, and collaborating with production lines to enhance safety and efficiency in a spaceflight-focused lab.

Qualifications

• Strong background in hydraulic components and systems.
• Experience with pneumatic and electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test hydraulic/pneumatic components.
• Perform pressure testing up to 6,000 psi+.
• Interpret schematics, P&IDs, and engineering drawings.
• Support engineers with component testing and automation development.
• Maintain lab safety and proper repair/testing methods.
• Travel to other locations for training and idea gathering.
• Work with production lines to improve practices and reduce bottlenecks.
