Job summary
TE Connectivity Corporation in Fairview, NC seeks a Staff Advanced Quality Engineer (HW & SW) to own QA for hardware and software across NPI and transition to production. You will implement AS9115/AS9100 controls, manage requirements, configuration, and supplier quality, and drive test assurance and continuous improvement in a hybrid on-site role.
The role demands 8+ years in aerospace software quality, hands-on QMS experience, and familiarity with ALM/PLM tools.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in software quality or engineering in aerospace/defense or similarly regulated domains.
- Practical AS9100/AS9115 experience and software lifecycle controls.
- Strong requirements, configuration management, and verification/validation expertise.
- Experience with supplier quality and COTS/NDS integration.
Responsibilities
- QA ownership for hardware and software in NPI and Production.
- Define verification/validation standards and audit readiness.
- Lead software release, delivery documentation, and post-delivery support.
- Develop KPIs and drive CAPAs for continuous improvement.
