Sophic Synergistics, an in-person Human Factors consulting firm located in Houston, TX, seeks a skilled Human Factors practitioner with FDA regulatory experience. The role emphasizes project management, usability testing, data analysis, and comprehensive reporting for a diverse client base.

The candidate will lead studies, develop plans and use cases, and coordinate with clients and C-suite stakeholders. A CHFP/CPE/CUXP certification and aerospace familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors Engineering required (or equivalent experience) with 3-7 years of experience as a practitioner of Human Factors
• Master’s degree in Human Factors Engineering required (or equivalent experience) with 1-5 years of experience as a practitioner of Human Factors
• Experience with FDA Human Factors regulatory requirements
• Other government experience a plus
• Certification as a CHFP, CPE or CUXP
• Highly desired: Experience in Aerospace
• Diverse industry experience base is a plus
• US Citizenship or Green Card Equivalent

Responsabilités

• Provide Human Factors Consulting
• Demonstrate skills in project management practices to plan, execute, and complete work on time
• Integrate work tasks for efficient completion of work
• Familiarity with FDA Human Factors Regulatory Process/Requirements
• Knowledge of 62366, FDA Guidance on Human Factors, 60601, HE75
• Understand Mil Std 1472, NASA STD 3001 and SSP 50005 Requirements and Aerospace applications
• Conduct Focus Groups, Benchmark studies, Task Analyses and Data Analyses
• Statistical analysis capabilities
• Define testing plans, use case scenarios, and user risk matrices to support usability testing
• Demonstrate understanding of verification and validation activities
• Define and communicate design requirements from user data/insights
• Conduct data analysis pertaining to Human System and testing efforts
• Develop Instructions for Use, Procedures, and Training protocols
• Develop project plans and communications for clients and C-suite
• Write Human Factors reports and assessments
• Manage data and resources
• Communicate product/service offerings to management and clients
• Contribute to social media postings (podcasts, blogs, etc.)
• Connect with current clients and partners to ensure exceptional experience
• Identify opportunities to expand contract scope
• Communicate with Sophic management and clients
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings
• Monitor customer accounts and needed actions
• Keep records up-to-date and accurate
• Maintain weekly plan/weekly status
• Complete assigned training on time
