Job summary

RTCA in Sumner, WA is seeking a Hone Set-Up Operator to set up, operate, and monitor honing equipment for precision aerospace components. You'll read blueprints, adjust machines, and perform first article and in-process inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy.

This full-time, onsite role includes weekend shifts (Fri-Sun 5:00 am–5:30 pm). You will maintain quality documentation, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years setting up and operating honing equipment in manufacturing, aerospace preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering docs; precision measuring instruments proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust honing machines per work instructions and drawings.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections with precision instruments.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finishes; read blueprints and docs.
• Document production and inspection results and maintain clean work area.
