RTCA is seeking a Hone Set-Up Operator to join our Sumner, WA site. You will set up, operate, and monitor honing equipment to meet tight tolerances and surface finishes in aerospace components, collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Requires 3–5 years of honing experience, ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools, and a high school diploma. This full-time, onsite role offers a competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years honing equipment setup/operation in manufacturing, aerospace preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering docs.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate, and adjust honing machines per instructions.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finishes.
• Read blueprints and manufacturing docs; document production data.
• Communicate quality or tooling concerns to supervision.
