Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up complex parts and operate manual and CNC machines without supervision.
• Honing, lapping and grinding parts to specification.
• Interpret plans, work orders, blueprints or drawings with GD&T.
• Inspect parts for quality using micrometers, calipers, air gauges and comparators.
• Finish parts with different materials to close tolerances without supervision.
• Check surface condition of work pieces for defects before starting.
• Meet production and quality requirements and keep area clean.
• Adjust feeds, speeds and tooling for multiple materials as needed.
• Replace worn tools and verify tool offsets.
• Drive continuous process improvements and maintain safety.
