Job summary

Chromalloy Corporation is seeking a Chemical Process Operator (Heat Treat) to operate vacuum and partial pressure heat treatment furnaces for aerospace components. You will ensure parts meet customer specs while maintaining equipment performance and quality. The role includes 4th shift: Fri-Sun, 5:00a–5:00p with a $3.00 shift differential.

Training may require hours outside the schedule. Prior experience in heat treatment and familiarity with furnace controls are valued as you contribute to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to clearly communicate in English; reading and understanding work instructions.
• 6+ months of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures and technical docs.
• Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios).

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum and partial pressure heat treatment furnaces to process aerospace components.
• Load and unload furnaces safely and efficiently.
• Run heat treat programs using furnace control software.
• Monitor cycles and document process charts.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate scheduled equipment maintenance and calibration.
