Job summary

Leidos Defense Electrical Systems Department in Huntsville, AL seeks an Entry-Level Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team designing PCBAs for aerospace and military systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent from ABET-accredited program; GPA 3.0 or higher
• Knowledge of digital/analog/mixed signal electronics, high-speed communications, components, and interface/communication standards
• Experience in electronics design and test from architecture through implementation
• Capable of collaborating in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within a team
• Hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation and test methods
• Residence in North Alabama or willingness to relocate to Huntsville, AL area

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and test PCBAs including power supply, mixed-signal, FPGA, and microcontroller designs
• Troubleshoot board-level issues and perform root-cause analysis to identify corrective actions
