Job summary

Leidos Defense Electrical Systems Department in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to design PCBAs, including power supply, mixed-signal, FPGA, and microcontroller blocks. You will work through the full product life cycle from concept to testing, collaborating with engineers and customers to meet aerospace and defense requirements.

A BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering with a 3.0+ GPA and hands-on lab experience are required.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering with a 3.0+ GPA.
Knowledge of digital/analog/mixed signal electronics and high-speed interfaces.
Experience in electronics design and test from architecture through implementation.
Ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment with multi-disciplinary teams.
Hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation and debugging methods.
US citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

Architect, implement, and test PCBAs including power, mixed-signal, FPGA, and MC designs.
Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and customers to meet requirements.
Troubleshoot board-level issues and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Support product lifecycle activities from concept through qualification testing.
