RTX is offering a Systems Engineering co-op in the Portland, Oregon metro area for a motivated student to design, develop, and test head-up guidance and enhanced vision systems for military, air transport, and corporate jet markets.

The role emphasizes product quality, interfaces with aviation systems, and FAA/EASA/Transport Canada certification involvement as part of the project lifecycle. Eligible candidates are pursuing STEM degrees with aircraft knowledge.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in a STEM field.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in STEM and actively enrolled through the internship/co-op session.
• Knowledge of aircraft or electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test systems including Head-Up Guidance Systems and Enhanced Vision Systems.
• Contribute to system requirement definition and interfaces with other aircraft systems.
• Learn verification, validation, and safety analyses for total systems.
