Job summary

Beyond New Horizons (BNH) is seeking an Enterprise GUI Software Developer to join AEDC-related projects at Arnold Air Force Base, Arnold, TN. You will design, implement, and maintain front-end interfaces for data acquisition and analysis in a rigorous aerospace test setting.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of GUI/Java/Python/WebGL/C/C++ experience. Citizenship and security requirements apply; sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering or a related scientific discipline from an accredited college or university.
• L07: Minimum of 2 years of experience using GUI, Java, Python, WebGL, GitLab, C, and/or C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain front-end interfaces for data acquisition, processing, mining, and storage systems.
• Design system requirements and create configurable interfaces for existing and future hardware/software.
• Conduct user research to understand needs and pain points; propose UI/UX improvements.
• Implement UI elements like menus, tabs, widgets to improve usability.
• Perform software testing and verification; support deployment and maintenance.
