Job summary

Beyond New Horizons is seeking an Enterprise GUI Software Developer to join the AEDC/Arnold AFB team. You will design, implement, test, and maintain front-end interfaces for data acquisition and processing systems in an aerospace ground test environment.

The role requires a strong foundation in GUI development with Java, Python, WebGL, C/C++, and GitLab, and U.S. citizenship. Expect a collaborative, security-conscious workplace with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in software development.
• 2+ years of experience with GUI, Java, Python, WebGL, GitLab, C or C++.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design systems requirements and interfaces for hardware/software integration.
• Conduct user research to understand needs and pain points.
• Develop UI/UX strategy aligned with customer requirements.
• Create UI elements (menus, tabs, widgets) for intuitive use.
• Perform software testing, verification and validation.
• Support software configuration management for system integrity.
• Apply security controls to meet Federal IA requirements.
• Collaborate in an open, trust-based team environment.
• Wear PPE as directed and perform other duties as required.
