Job summary

A leading aerospace and defense company in Florida is seeking an experienced Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic III to maintain ground service vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, hold an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance, and be willing to deploy OCONUS as needed. Qualifications

• 5 or more years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.
• Must have an active US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and maintain aerospace ground service vehicles.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Assist with Tool Room Crib operations.

Skills

Ability to understand and interpret technical schematics

Experience with periodic government inspections

Moderate skills in servicing and repairing equipment

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Various hand and power tools
