Job summary

Lakota Solutions is seeking an Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic for the swing shift at Eglin AFB, FL. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, minor/major maintenance, and troubleshooting on powered and non-powered ground support equipment.

You will interpret drawings, use diagnostic tools, and document maintenance actions to ensure proper operation and safety. Prior experience and security clearances are required.

Qualifications

• US Citizen required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CAC.
• Eligibility to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
• 5+ years experience as Aerospace Ground Equipment Mechanic.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic principles.
• Ability to read and use electrical wiring diagrams.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to operate common and special hand and power tools.
• Must obtain/maintain valid state and flightline driver license.

Responsibilities

• Clear Red X and other symbols after maintenance actions.
• Inspect, diagnose, repair, service and clean AGE assets.
• Troubleshoot AGE malfunctions using drawings and schematics.
• Use test/diagnostic equipment to verify operation.
• Disassemble, repair, and reinstall AGE components.
• Maintain MIS documentation of maintenance actions.
• Suggest improvements to equipment performance and procedures.
• Keep work area clean and safe; follow regulatory requirements.
