Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a GSE Mechanic Level III to repair and maintain both motorized and non‑motorized ground service equipment for airlines.

The role requires advanced maintenance on engines, electrical systems, hydraulics and tires, with a focus on safety and accuracy in documentation. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of verified experience, owns their own tools, and can obtain necessary credentials (FAA, TSA).

Qualifications

• Must have 6+ years of verified experience as a GSE mechanic or equivalent.
• Must provide own tools and toolbox.
• Able to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Eligible to work in the United States and hold required credentials (FAA/TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs as applicable).
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record and ability to operate in a safety‑conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain motorized and non‑motorized ground support equipment.
• Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid and compressed air.
• Log repair work and inspect engines, electrical, brakes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose issues and perform testing and performance assessments.
• Complete required paperwork and adhere to safety procedures.
