Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a GSE Mechanic Level III to repair and maintain ground support equipment for airlines.

You will perform advanced maintenance on motorized and non-motorized equipment and ensure safe operations in a fast-paced aviation environment. Join a team with strong safety standards, competitive pay of $33-$35 per hour, and opportunities for growth across more than 200 locations worldwide.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 years of verified experience.
• Must provide own tools and toolbox.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• English communication required.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• FAA/RAIC/TSA credentials eligibility.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service equipment with fuel, water, oil, hydraulic fluid and compressed air.
• Log equipment numbers to be repaired with description of work for each unit.
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, replace, repair, overhaul or modify engines, transmissions, electrical systems and hydraulics.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues per manufacturer guidelines and safety regs.
• Remove, test, repair or replace components and accessories (carburetors, governors, cleaners, sensors).
• Check valve/tolerance adjustments and drive-train components; operate and test ground equipment.
