Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a skilled Grinding Machinist to machine, repair, and finish critical aerospace components to precise specifications. In this hands-on role, you will operate CNC and manual grinding equipment, inspect your work, and ensure every part meets the highest standards for quality, safety, and performance.

Shift: 3:00 PM-11:30 PM, Monday-Friday with potential evenings/weekends. Sign-On Bonus: $1,000.

Qualifications

• Machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T.
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual grinding equipment.
• Machine and repair precision aerospace components to close tolerances.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, pi tapes, and other precision tools.
• Change tooling and adjust machine feeds and speeds as needed.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and document inspections.
