Job summary

Aerotek in Cleveland, OH seeks a Machine Operator to operate centerless grinders, thread rolling, and finishing equipment in a clean aerospace environment. You will follow prints and ISO 9001 standards, lift up to 50 lbs, and work on first or second shift.

This contract-to-hire role offers safety-focused, onsite work with opportunities for growth and comprehensive safety and quality programs. Prior metal processing experience and a commitment to quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of material handling experience.
• Ability to read and follow work orders accurately.
• Experience with grinders, mills, or similar machinery.
• Proficient use of power tools and safety procedures.
• Experience in grinding and metal finishing processes.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Keen eye for detail when inspecting parts.
• Capable of working safely in secured aerospace environments.
• Commitment to ISO 9001 standards and production quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate centerless grinder machinery per standards.
• Set up and monitor thread rolling to spec.
• Inspect parts against prints and deburr as needed.
• Load material and ensure proper alignment.
• Move finished material to next station efficiently.
• Use power tools and finishing equipment for high-quality surface.
• Follow work orders accurately.
• Maintain clean, safe workspace per aerospace standards.
• Adhere to security procedures to access secured areas.
• Support production flow and minimize downtime.
