Job summary

Indotronix in Wichita, KS seeks an Assembly Mechanic/Installer for aerospace applications. You will assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect and complete precision components from drawings and specifications, and perform functional tests to verify fit and function using CNC and conventional equipment.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of aerospace machine operation experience, can work any shift (including weekends/overtime), must be able to stand for the full shift, and be available to start within

Qualifications

5–10 years of machine operation experience in the aerospace field.
Willingness to work any shift, including weekends/overtime.
Ability to stand for the entire shift.
Available to start within two weeks.

Responsibilities

Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect and complete precision and other structural components from drawings and specs.
Functionally test assemblies and ensure fit, form and function per instructions.
Obtain information from prints, charts and work instructions to complete tasks.
Use precision measuring tools to verify work and document discrepancies.
Utilize tooling to assemble components into sub-assemblies or end items.
Ensure certification and maintenance of equipment per procedures.
Move product within the manufacturing area and prepare for next operation.
Train and assist other assembly personnel and cross-train in inspection to SIA qualification.
Setup and operate conventional and CNC fastening equipment to assembly components as per specs.
