Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. seeks an Assembly Mechanic for fuselage work in Wichita, KS. The role involves assembling, sealing, rigging, and inspecting components from drawings and process specs, and performing functional tests to ensure correct fit and function.

The candidate will train others, work with CNC and conventional equipment, and assist in maintaining tool certifications while meeting daily production schedules.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of experience in fuselage assembly or related roles.
• 737 fuselage experience required.
• Must be able to read prints and process instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect and complete precision components from drawings and specifications.
• Perform functional test and verify fit, form and function.
• Operate CNC and conventional equipment for assembly operations.
• Ensure certifications and maintenance on tools per procedure.
• Train and assist employees, support continuous flow of production.
