Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Chantilly, VA. You will welcome visitors at a front desk, manage access, and monitor entry systems within an aerospace/defense environment.

Active DoD Secret clearance is required. Minimum 1 year of security experience, CPR/First Aid certifications preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Shift schedule includes daytime hours and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment.
• Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and authorization, issuing temporary credentials.
• Monitor entry activity and access-control systems; report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and incident documentation while protecting confidential information.
