Job summary

RTX invites an FPGA Engineering Intern to join the Multi Product Power & Digital Team within Electrical Engineering. You will collaborate with design, test, and integration to develop FPGA solutions across multiple product lines.

The role emphasizes hands-on FPGA work, verification, and documentation, with on-site collaboration and opportunities to influence real-world aerospace and defense projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with VHDL or Verilog programming.
• Experience with FPGAs, microprocessors, or programmable logic devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop FPGA designs for major vendors and device families (Xilinx/AMD, Altera/Intel, Microchip).
• Implement designs using VHDL for gigabit serial interfaces, RF interfaces, DSP algorithms, control logic, data links, and embedded processing.
• Collaborate with circuit card designers and systems engineers to develop requirements and model algorithms.
