Zusammenfassung

RTX is seeking an FPGA Electrical Engineer I in McKinney, TX to provide full lifecycle support of production-quality FPGA designs for major vendors and device families. You will work onsite on DoD-critical programs, helping with architecture, design, verification, and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

You'll code in VHDL/Verilog, participate in agile planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering by start date.
• Experience with FPGA/ASIC design or verification (VHDL/Verilog or SystemVerilog).
• Hands-on FPGA/ASIC integration and debug in a lab environment.
• Experience with version control, design reviews, and code release in a team environment.

Aufgaben

• Provide full lifecycle support of production-quality FPGA designs for major vendors and device families.
• Generate FPGA designs for gigabit interfaces, RF DSP, controls, data links, and embedded processing.
• Assist architecture development of FPGA-based systems to determine parts and CONOPS.
• Design and code in VHDL for reliability and maintainability.
• Support design verification with self-checking tests and coverage tracking.
• Report execution status to budget and schedule using an agile framework.
• Create documentation including requirements, verification plan, and user guides.
• Function as an individual contributor.
• Present your work to leadership.
• Engage in professional growth and development.
