Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3 to 5 years of professional engineering experience in hardware design and development.
• Solid understanding of VHDL and FPGA development workflows (Xilinx Vivado).
• Familiarity with high-speed digital interfaces and signal integrity concepts.
• Experience with EDA tools for simulation (ModelSim/QuestaSim) and schematic capture (Altium).
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and verify VHDL code for FPGAs used in aerospace applications.
• Contribute to ARINC 818 interfaces, including Fibre Channel, video formats, timing, and link integrity.
• Support integration and testing of ARINC 818 systems using lab equipment and custom test setups.
• Develop and execute test procedures for compliance, robustness, and performance validation.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, and Manufacturing teams on hardware-software integration.
• Generate and review airworthiness and compliance documentation.
