Precision Castparts Corp. in Paramount, CA is seeking a Forging Engineer Intern to support manufacturing engineering and forging operations. You will be involved in process improvement, production reporting, and data analysis while aligned with academic schedules.

The role offers hands-on exposure to aerospace forging operations, ERP/MRP data handling, and continuous improvement projects, with flexible hours (16–20 per week) during the school year.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Must have completed at least the second year of an accredited engineering program.
• Strong technical aptitude and interest in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Operations Support: Learn aerospace forging processes, assist with production tracking and attend production meetings.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Enter and analyze data in ERP/MRP systems, run daily production reports and track project performance.
• Continuous Improvement Projects: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and support implementation and follow-up.
