Job summary

Aluminum Precision Products in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Product Process Technician to support department records and manufacturing processes across aerospace forging. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost efficiency while complying with APP standards.

Responsibilities include generating data for improvement projects, creating forge procedures, standardizing tryouts, and reporting results to leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• U.S. citizen or eligible for ITAR/EAR compliance.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; ERP systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Development Engineer and CI teams to generate data for improvement projects.
• Develop forge procedures and work instructions.
• Standardize the tryout process across locations where possible.
• Support APP facilities and problem-solve on the shop floor.
• Provide reports to leadership and analyze process data for improvements.
• Coordinate developmental runs with management and review forging simulations.
