Pratt & Whitney is seeking an experienced welder to join our Operations Team, welding jet engine components and performing hand or machine welding per drawings and schedules. This on-site role requires attention to detail and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

The weekend shift (Friday–Sunday, 5:00am–5:30pm) offers 36 hours paid as 40, with overtime and competitive benefits. Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and a welding certification in at least two metal groups,

Formación

• High School or GED plus related experience or completed degree in related field.
• Certify and maintain a welding certification in at least two metal groups.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Shift flexibility including overtime.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and perform hand fusion, machine welding or other metal joining processes to fabricate or repair parts.
• Work from drawings, sketches and instructions; set up equipment and parameters for quality welds.
• Prepare parts, align details, and operate welding equipment and cycles.
• Use X-Ray or light-based nondestructive testing to assess repairs and inspect finished surfaces.
• Maintain appropriate welding certifications and follow safety and quality procedures.
