Job summary

Aluminum Precision Products is seeking a Tool and Design Assistant in California to support department records and cross-functional manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with engineering and CI teams to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost efficiency while ensuring AP P standards are followed.

The role requires basic CAD/CAM knowledge, ERP familiarity, and strong communication skills, with travel as needed. APP offers comprehensive benefits and an ESOP program.

Qualifications

• Familiar with GD&T and blueprints.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Document control procedures knowledge.
• Ability to use measuring equipment.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Review documents and route 3D CAD files per procedures.
• Maintain digital and hardcopy master files.
• Collaborate with Product Development and CI teams to generate data.
• Release ECR/ECN and operational records per procedures.
• Route engineering changes and support ITAR/EAR compliance.
• Travel as required for business.
