Job summary

Ameri-Force, Inc. in San Diego, CA seeks an experienced electrical assembler to produce flight avionics harnesses and perform wiring integration to high-level work instructions.

You will solder components as small as 0402, construct harness elements, and crimp conductors per NASA and IPC standards while applying ESD controls. A high school diploma and 2–3 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years wiring harness assembly/integration or general electrical fabrication experience.
• J-STD-001ES certification with Space Addendum or equivalent required.
• Experience prepping for Parylene coating per NASA-STD 8739.1.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings, ESD control knowledge.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 familiarity for harness manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Produce and process flight avionics and harnesses.
• Solder and rework fine pitch components down to 0402.
• Construct flight harnesses and crimp conductors per NASA/IPC with ESD control.
• Schedule work activities and track status with team.
• Document issues and ensure progress is reported and records maintained.
• Record production details and ensure processing per company procedures.
