Job summary

L3Harris in Rochester, NY is seeking an Experienced Electrical Technician for assembly and integration of complex electromechanical space flight components. You will work with engineers to optimize designs for manufacturability, perform cable/harness builds and soldering, and maintain manufacturing records.

The role requires reading drawings, a HS diploma with 4 years of experience (or 2 years with an Associates), and the ability to obtain a US government security clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 4+ years related experience, or 2 years post-secondary with 0–2 years related experience
• IPC/JSTD or NASA certifications required

Responsibilities

• Read engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics and detailed work instructions
• Perform assembly and integration of complex electromechanical space flight components
• Maintain accurate manufacturing records and documentation
• Operate in manufacturing or prototyping environments
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed
• Able to obtain US Government security clearance
