Job summary

Fuse Integration Inc. in San Diego seeks a hands-on assembler to build cable harnesses and circuit card assemblies for defense and aerospace environments. You will read wiring diagrams, follow drawings and travelers, and perform soldering, crimping, and wiring tasks to IPC standards.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and in a small production team, and U.S. Citizenship.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience assembling cable harnesses and/or circuit card assemblies in a defense, aerospace, or other regulated electronics environment.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, harness drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Proficiency with hand tools, crimp tools, soldering irons, heat guns, torque tools, and basic electrical test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cable harnesses and interconnects per drawings, BOMs, and IPC standards.
• Build and rework circuit card assemblies (CCA/PCBA) with soldering and inspection.
• Assemble electro-mechanical units and enclosures, and read schematics and travelers.
• Perform testing with meters and production test equipment and document results.
• Collaborate with production to resolve issues and improve processes.
