The role involves performing detailed first article inspections, reviewing drawings and documentation, and preparing accurate inspection reports. Collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams is essential to maintain DG’s high standards and traceability.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.

Responsibilities

• Perform First Article Inspections on components, subassemblies, and finished products.
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Use precision measuring instruments to validate dimensions.
• Prepare and maintain detailed First Article Inspection reports per AS9100 or applicable standards.
• Review material certifications and inspection records for accuracy.
• Identify and communicate discrepancies and non-conformances.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain traceability of inspected parts and records.
• Support internal and external audits with inspection documentation.
• Follow safety requirements per Facilities and Safety Manager.
