Martinic Engineering Inc. is seeking a Hand Finish Technician for on-site work in Tolleson, AZ. The role focuses on precision deburring, blending, and finishing aerospace components to meet stringent quality standards.

You will inspect parts, remove burrs with hand tools and small grinders, and verify dimensions with micrometers and calipers, collaborating with machinists and engineers to ensure conformance to AS9100 quality systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in deburring, finishing, or precision assembly in aerospace/high-tech manufacturing.
• Experience with aerospace materials (aluminum, titanium, Inconel) is a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics and GD&T.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined aerospace parts for burrs, edges, and surface irregularities.
• Remove burrs and imperfections using hand tools and small power tools.
• Follow drawings and specifications to maintain tight tolerances and cosmetic standards.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions.
• Collaborate with machinists, inspectors, and engineers for deburring and finishing.
• Document work and maintain traceability.
