Job summary

Martinic Engineering Inc in Tolleson, AZ is seeking a Hand Finish Technician to perform precision deburring, blending, and finishing on aerospace components to meet strict quality standards. The role emphasizes attention to detail and manual dexterity, working on high-precision surfaces for flight-critical assemblies.

This is a 2nd shift position (2:30pm - 11:00pm) on-site and requires familiarity with GD&T, AS9100, NADCAP, calipers, micrometers, and various hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a deburring, finishing, or precision assembly role in aerospace, medical device, or high-tech manufacturing preferred.
• Experience working with aerospace materials (aluminum, titanium, Inconel, etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and GD&T.
• Familiarity with aerospace quality systems (AS9100) and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aerospace parts for burrs, sharp edges, and surface irregularities.
• Remove burrs and imperfections using hand and power tools.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to ensure conformance.
• Maintain tight tolerances and cosmetic standards per AS9100/NADCAP.
• Measure dimensions with calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Collaborate with machinists, inspectors, and engineers on deburring tasks.
• Document work and maintain traceability.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain equipment.
• Assist in continuous improvement efforts.
