Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the Operational Commercial Engines Customer Technical Services team in East Hartford, CT. You will address hotsection and controls hardware issues, and coordinate with customers, MROs, and cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure safe, reliable engine operation.

This role emphasizes engine safety and fleet reliability, with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience troubleshooting aerospace systems and engine hardware.
• Ability to work with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Address hotsection and controls hardware issues for engines.
• Coordinate with customers, MROs, and engineering teams for problem resolution.
• Lead technical discussions and provide guidance on engine maintenance.
• Support on-wing and shop maintenance data and manuals in AMM/EM references.
