Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking Associate or Experienced Fatigue & Fracture Analysis Engineers to support current and emerging aircraft programs within the Air Dominance division of Boeing Defense Space and Security.

Responsibilities include leading fatigue analysis, test planning, and certification documentation, with exposure to PATRAN/NASTRAN and other analysis tools. Positions span Level 2 and Level 3 with on-site roles in multiple Missouri locations.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials Sciences.
• 2+ years of fatigue and damage tolerance analysis experience (Level 2) or 5+ years (Level 3).
• 1+ years experience with Spectrum Generation and structural testing plans.
• Experience with PATRAN/NASTRAN, StressCheck, NASGRO, AFGROW.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and documentation of fatigue and fracture requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop test plans, configurations, support test execution and analyze results.
• Document certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies.
• Investigate failures and drive improvements on in-service products.
• Create analytical tools to improve development efficiency.
