Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Level One Assembly Operator for the 2nd Shift. You will safely operate 2-5 component assembly machines to assemble a single fastener component, using basic shop math and print reading skills.

Reading English drawings, lifting up to 35 lbs, and adhering to PPE guidelines are required. Pay ranges from $19.50 to $29.50 per hour, plus a quarterly bonus, PTO, holidays, and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Must read and write English.
• Introductory shop math (fractions and decimals).
• Ability to use micrometer, caliper, and optical comparator.
• Ability to interpret basic drawing dimensions.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under PPE and safety guidelines.
• Assemble components using hydraulic press or other equipment per instructions.
• Perform marking and identification operations per instructions.
• Use inspection gauges to measure dimensions.
• Read and interpret part drawings in English.
• Assist with dimensional inspection activities as required.
