Job summary

The HEICO Companies, LLC in Exeter, NH is seeking a Quality Control Inspector II to independently inspect machined and brazed aluminum components for Aerospace and Defense applications, with emphasis on First Article Inspection (FAI) per AS9102.

You will interpret drawings via GD&T, operate precision measuring tools and CMMs, document results, and collaborate with QA to resolve nonconformances while supporting a safe, efficient production environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in GD&T usage and interpretation
• Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAI) and AS9102 documentation
• Experience with precision inspection instruments
• Strong documentation accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, mechanical, dimensional and functional inspection of materials, components, assemblies and final products
• Interpret drawings using ASME Y14.5M GD&T standards
• Operate precision measuring tools and CMMs for inspections
• Conduct FAIs per AS9102 and document evidence
• Support CAPA investigations and issue Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMR)
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
