Job summary

Xyant Technology is seeking a Quality Inspector for Aerospace FAI Inspection on a 6-month contract (40 hours per week). You will verify 100% of dimensions and drawing notes against blueprints, ensure the tooling and instructions match the planned mass-manufacture process, and document results.

The ideal candidate has aerospace FAI inspection experience and a High School Diploma or GED. You will complete AS9102 Forms 1, 2 and 3 and trace materials to certified mill reports and approved suppliers,

Qualifications

• Aerospace FAI inspection experience is mandatory.
• High School Diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Verify 100% of dimensions and drawing notes against blueprints using calibrated inspection tools.
• Confirm the production process uses the exact tooling, machinery, and work instructions planned for mass manufacturing.
• Trace all raw materials and special processes back to certified mill reports and approved suppliers.
• Complete AS9102 Forms 1, 2, and 3 to document part data, material specs, and actual measured results.
• Trigger a new FAI whenever there is a design change, a move to a new facility, or a production lapse of two years.
