Job summary

Aero Eng & Mfg of CA in Valencia, CA, is seeking a QA Inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspections, including in-process, final, and FAI activities. You will apply GD&T, interpret blueprints, and verify test data and documentation under general supervision.

Requirements include experience with AS9102 FAI, hand measurement tools, and CMM inspection processes, plus a valid driver's license. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components.
• Experience performing FAI’s – AS9102.
• Experience with hand measurement tools.
• Fluent English reading and writing.

Responsibilities

• Experienced quality individual in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components
• Experience in performing FAI’s – AS9102
• Experience with hand measurement tools
• Knowledge of CMM Inspection process
• Knowledge and experience in GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
• Knowledge and experience with blueprint interpretation
• Perform final inspection and receiving inspection (Which includes dimensional, visual inspection, surface finish, and assembly inspection)
• Reads, interprets, and utilizes Quality policies, procedures, blueprints, and other documentation
• Process warehouse materials
• Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines/procedures to perform the functions of the job
• Support positive corrective actions and identification of root cause
• Other duties as assigned.
